Encampments

Intro To Aviation This introduction to aviation encampment is for high school students aged 13 to 18.  It is a two day event that includes basic ground schools, several flights in a glider and instruction in an LSA powered aircraft.  Ground schools include the basic of flying, aviation safety and professional opportunities in aviation and aerospace.
Advanced Glider This encampment is for high school students aged 13 to 18 and provides flight and ground instruction towards obtaining an FAA private glider certificate.  These encampments are tailored for each students current progress towards a pilot certificate.  Several encampments are required to solo and progress to the private pilot certificate in gliders.

Advanced LSA

This encampment is for high school students aged 15 to 18 and provides flight and ground instruction towards obtaining an FAA light sport pilot certificate in powered aircraft.  Like the glider encampment, several encampments are required to progress to solo and then a pilot certificate.
